Life House History
2003 Life House began
Tracy Castorena, Mike Hernandez and a few other CCV members who were interested in International Missions Programs. The two areas they wanted to focus on were Kenya and Mexico.
2005 Mike Hernandez became the Chairman for Life House
New Board Members were added
The primary focus became Mexico Programs
2009 Life House decided to begin working locally.
We began working with Holt 1-2-1 in Pomona Gardens
Towards the end of the year, CCV asked if we could create a Partnering Foundation for the church.
A separate group of CCV members joined together and began forming a foundation. The goal was to call it Hands of Hope Now.
2011 Hands of Hope joined Life House Foundation
We all noticed that we had very similar interest and initiatives.
We agreed to join the two groups together.
We expanded our support to two new organizations in Mexico
I became Chairman
2012 Our Programs expanded
CCP joined LH to help it expand its sponsorship base
Break the Cycle expanded its region from Pomona to include Covina and surrounding areas
