Tax-Deductible Receipts
Each transaction processed through CCP Kenya’s fiscal sponsor, Life House Foundation for Children, receives a tax-deductible receipt to the email address used with the transaction. Life House also sends annual summary receipts to the email used with transactions within the regular U.S. guideline for non-profits of January 30th each year for the prior year.
Young Adult Children
When sponsoring a child, CCP asks sponsors to commit to a minimum of two years. It is ideal if a sponsor can commit to the child through 18 years of age although that is not a requirement. Once a child completes primary and secondary education, if sponsors are willing and able to continue sponsorship, CCP continues to work with the child to complete preparation for on-going work through university or a trade school. If this is possible, usually 100% of the monthly sponsorship amount is applied to cover the university or trade school but the details depend on the child and their circumstances. If your sponsorship child is approaching 18 years of age, we welcome you to be in communication with CCP by emailing sponsorship@ccpkenya.org to be informed of all options.
